Portable Toxic Vapor Collector

Seacoast Science’s SeaPort 4TD provides a tool for environmental monitoring for noxious and toxic vapors to help protect workers and the general public.

The SeaPort-4TD is designed specifically for sampling using up to four conventional thermal desorption (TD) air-sampling tubes. Its flexible design allows for individually addressable sorbent tubes for short or long-term air monitoring using commercial, off the shelf (COTS) TD tubes. A simple but flexible user-interface allows the user to preprogram start, stop and flow profiles for each sorbent tube individually.

An onboard photoionization detector (PID) set to a user-adjustable threshold may be set to trigger collection of air by the sampler. Alternatively, sampling start and stop times may be set independently for the four sorbent tubes. Design allows for easy exchange of TD tubes without interrupting active sampling

Multiple SeaPort 4TD collectors can be combined to increase the tube array to as many as 32 TD tubes and allows for collection of parallel samples. The SeaPort 4TD is powered by a separate 12V battery pack or a power supply that plugs into a conventional 110 – 120 VAC wall outlet.
